Greeting card
Works on any picture
you have open — a turtle, a skull, a photo you imported, a
blank page you drew on. Prints one sheet; fold it in half twice and
your picture is the front of a 4¼ × 5½ inch card
with a blank inside to write in. Print the test page once first
— if FRONT comes out upside down, switch the fold direction
above.

Pages & packs
Pick a pack, then a page. Locked packs
show their artwork — sign in to unlock one.
A pack is yours for good and
follows your account to any phone. The coloring you have already done
stays on the device you did it on — save the image when a page is
finished and it is yours wherever you keep it.
Colorloom's
main shelf and the Kids app are separate installs on their own addresses.
Nothing here appears in either of them.

Your work
One file with every page
you have coloured, your palettes and your settings. Import merges it with
whatever is already on this device — nothing is overwritten unless the
file has more of that page coloured in.
Your work stays on this device. Colors and
drawings are saved in this browser only — never uploaded to us, and never
tied to your account. That also means clearing your browsing data, or
switching to another phone, starts you fresh. When a page is finished, save
the image so you keep it for good.

Tap to add, tap again to remove. The
number shows where it lands on the sheet. Pages you have colored come
first; any page you can open can go in, colored or not.
Photos and camera shots stay on this
device. They are never uploaded, and we never see them. Adding them is
unlimited.
Paper
Uses the same My coloring / Blank outlines
choice as the buttons above.
Your packs are here
Everything you have bought is
already unlocked on this device. What has not come with it is the
coloring itself — that stayed on the device you did it on.
Packs follow your account. Sign in anywhere and every pack you
own opens, on as many devices as you like.
Coloring stays on the device you did it on. It is held in that
browser's own storage and never uploaded — which is what keeps it private,
and also why it cannot appear here.
Nothing is lost. The half-finished page is still exactly where
you left it. Open the same browser on that device and it is there.
To carry a finished picture
between devices, save it as an image or a PDF from

Seven days — here is a page
Yours to keep, on this account, on any device you sign in on.
We picked it — it is the page most people have starred that you did not
already have.
Welcome — here are five pages
Yours to keep, on this account, on any device you sign in on.
One from each of several packs, so you can see what each one is like.
From here, opening Colorloom on seven different days — they do
not have to be in a row — adds another page, free. That one keeps coming
for as long as you keep coming back.

What is this about?
2000 left
This is anonymous. It sends from the app, not from
your email, and we are not given your address. That means we read every
one and we cannot write back — so if you are describing something broken,
put everything we would need in the message itself.
Refunds do not go through this form. This channel is
anonymous, and a refund needs the purchase attached to it.
Reply to your Stripe receipt. The emailed receipt for
the pack came from us and identifies exactly what you bought — replying to
it reaches us with the purchase already attached, which is the fastest way
to get it sorted.
Thank you — we have it
Your message is in. We read everything that comes through
here, and it genuinely does shape what gets built and drawn next.
You will not get a reply, and that is not us being
rude — the message arrived without your email address, on purpose, so
there is no way for us to write back. We will take it as it stands and go
from there.

What they can see
You decide, not us. The list above is every set of
pictures in the app; untick anything you would rather they did not see. The
"not all ages" note is only our opinion of the artwork — it does not hide
anything by itself.
What this does not do. A web page cannot lock itself to
the screen. For that, use Guided Access on an iPad (Settings →
Accessibility) or screen pinning on Android — then this is the only
app they can reach. The PIN here blocks every way to buy something and hides
whatever you unticked; it will not stop someone who knows how to clear a
browser's data.
Colorloom Kids
A second app, with its own icon,
for a child's own device. It is not a setting inside this one — it is a
separate install, and the only way to remove it is to uninstall it.
What is in it
45 of the easiest drawings, free, with no way to buy
anything.
The blank page and free drawing, and saving and printing as much as
they like — none of it is counted.
What is not
No account and no sign-in. Nothing to type, nothing collected.
No store, no prices, no purchases, and nothing that leads to one.
No photos, no camera, no quilt sheets, no notifications.
It works with the internet off. It downloads its drawings once
while it installs, and after that it never needs a network to run —
colouring, saving and printing all work in airplane mode.
When it happens to be online it
checks whether new drawings exist — a few dozen bytes, once, when it opens.
If there are, it says so and waits: nothing downloads unless you press
Update. A device that is never online never changes at all.
You will land on kids.practicalbyteapps.com,
where your phone will offer to add it to the home screen. It is a separate
app on its own address — installing it does not change this one.
If it opens inside this app
You are in the installed Colorloom
app. The Kids app is on its own address, so the button above should hand
it to your browser — but if it opens in a window that still belongs to
this app, your phone will say it is already installed and bring you back
here. Only a browser can install an app, so open it there instead.
kids.practicalbyteapps.com
Open Chrome or Safari, go there, and use Add to Home Screen. If your
phone says it is already installed, uninstall “Colorloom
Kids” from Settings first — taking the icon off the home screen
does not remove it.
Colorloom After Dark
This shelf is for adults
It contains strong language in full, horror and menace, weapons,
blood and gore, and drug references. There is no nudity and no
sexual content.
Nothing here asks your age or your identity, and nothing is sent anywhere
— this is a note about what is inside, and your answer stays on this
device.
Colorloom After Dark
A second app, with its own icon and
its own address. It is not a setting inside this one — it is a
separate install, and the pages in it never appear here.
What is in it
Strong language. Pages built around swearing, in full.
Horror and menace. Creatures, dread, and the aftermath of
violence.
Weapons and fighting, and blood and gore — horror
aftermath and anatomy, not real or documentary imagery.
Drug references, including cannabis.
What is not
No nudity and no sexual content.
Nothing that asks your age, your date of birth or your identity.
Its own packs, and only those. Colorloom's other packs stay in
Colorloom — this is a second shelf, not a second door to the
same one.

Colorloom Pro
You have Pro. Thank you.
The free goes need an account.
Signing in is free and takes a moment — it is what your remaining tries are
counted against, and it is how Pro follows you to another phone.
One payment of $9.99, tied to your
account, so it comes with you to another phone. It lifts three limits:
Quilt sheets — four, six or nine pages on one printed sheet with
sashing. Three free, then Pro.
Your own photos — import them, crop them, turn them into line art
and color them. Three free, then Pro.
Blank pages you drew yourself — four saves or prints a week on
the free version, unlimited on Pro.
Everything else stays free, with no limit: coloring, saving
and printing any page from a pack you own or the free pages, drawing on
them, and your signature.
