Privacy

The short version: we hold your email address and which packs you bought. Your colouring never leaves your own device, and we do not run ads, trackers or analytics.
What we store
- Your email address and account id, so a pack can belong to someone.
- Which packs you own, and the date and amount of each purchase.
That is the entire list.
What we never see
- Your card details. Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page. Card numbers never touch this site or our servers.
- Your colouring. Which colours you put where, your finish and palette choices, and your progress are saved in your own browser's local storage. They are never uploaded. Clearing your browser data erases them, and they do not follow you to another device.
- Your photos. A photo you add from your phone, or take with the camera inside the app, is processed entirely on your own device and stored only there. It is never uploaded, never sent to us, and never reaches any server of ours or anyone else's. There is no endpoint on this site that accepts a picture. Nobody at Colorloom can see your photos, because there is nowhere for them to be seen.
- Your signature. Same: drawn or imported on your device, stored on your device.
- Your password. Sign-in is handled by Clerk; we never receive it.
Adding photos is unlimited on every plan, and that is partly why: they cost us nothing to allow, because they never come near us.
What you make is yours
A page you coloured, a drawing you made on a blank page, and a page made from your own photo are yours. Share them, print them, post them, hang them on a wall. We claim nothing in a picture you took, and nothing in the colouring you did. The one thing that stays ours is the blank line art we drew — see terms.
Who else is involved
- Stripe — payments and sales tax. Sees your name, email, card and billing address, under Stripe's privacy policy.
- Clerk — accounts and sign-in. Sees your email and login activity.
- Cloudflare — hosting. Handles the requests and keeps short-lived server logs.
- Google Fonts — the two typefaces this site uses.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or send marketing email you did not ask for. The only email we send is about a purchase you made.
Cookies
Only what sign-in requires to keep you logged in, and Stripe's own cookies on its checkout page. No advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as you hold the pack, and afterwards for as long as tax law requires us to keep sale records. Everything else goes when your account does.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to get a copy of what we hold on you, correct it, or delete your account and everything attached to it. We will do it, and we will not ask you to justify it. Deleting your account removes your packs, which cannot be undone.
Children, and the Kids app
The pages are made for anyone to colour, but an account and a payment method are needed to buy one, so accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Colorloom Kids is a separate install for a child's own device, and it is built so that there is nothing to collect:
- No account, no sign-in, no email address, nothing to type.
- It downloads its set of drawings once, when it is installed, and after that it does not use the network at all.
- No store, no prices, no purchases, and no way to reach one.
- No photos, no camera, no notifications.
- Everything the child draws is saved on that device and nowhere else.
We receive no information from the Kids app, because it sends none.
